Vollure XC for acne scars and deep smile lines?

At just 24 hours past the injection time, what you see is most likely just the temporary swelling associated with filler injection and nothing to be worried about yet. Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  It is difficult without pictures to offer definite advice but what you are likely experiencing is asymmetrical swelling from the injections and filler material.  If you have significant concerns contact your injector for an in-person examination but otherwise allow your results more time to mature and the swelling should improve. Hang in there.

Having fillers for acne scars and smiles lines would be appropriate if a board-certified physician told you that it is best for you. However, you have to seek help from your physician to alleviate these issues that you have right now. They may or may not have resulted from the filler. Thank you for the inquiry! Vollure is a great product for the smile lines, and last the longest. As for using it to treat Acne scarring I would not recommed it. for Acne scarring i would recommend Bellafill the only FDA approved Collagen based filler used to treat moderate to severe acne scarring. If you suffer from pitted acne scars. The collagen in Bellafill adds volume under the rolling scar and lifts the surrounding skin for a smoother appearance.  Treatments typically last for 5 years for acne scarring with optimal results appearing after one month

There are many great products for creating a beautiful result.  Juvederm Vollure for nasolabial folds and marionette lines are a great choice. It can also be used for acne scars, but is being used off label.  It is normal for healing to take 1-2 weeks for final results. 
Bellafill is another filler that contains PMMA microspheres which provide a scaffold that supports your own natural collagen production as it develops over time.83% of patients were still satisfied with their results 5 years after improvement. Bellafill is FDA approved for acne scarring.  Bellafill replaces lost volume in the skin below the acne scar, and is best used for distensible, rolling acne scars. More than one treatment may be needed, but results are excellent and long lasting.

Thank you for your question.  It is difficult to make exact recommendations without assessing you in person, or at least reviewing your photos.  That said, it's not uncommon for filler to feel slightly firm or bumpy immediately after injection - this is especially the case when fillers are injected superficially, as they are when treating acne scars.  Generally speaking, over the course of a few weeks, fillers like Vollure absorb water and soften, gradually blending into your skin.  If you are still noticing lumps in 1-2 weeks, please follow-up with your injector to discuss your concerns.  He/she may be able to gently massage out any remaining nodules, or dissolve them with hyaluronidase.  Best of luck!
