Tummy tuck or alternative: what are my best options for improved appearance? (photo)

I've had several csections leaving me with a shelf following the most recent one (6 months ago.) I also have extra fat below my naval that is contributing to this undesirable appearance that has yet to go away. I barely have any stretch marks and my skin seems taut. I'm frightened of the scar and down time a tummy tuck would require and I'm hoping other options like mini tummy tuck, lipo or non surgical options would achieve great results... What are my best options for improved appearance?

The tummy tuck will give you the best result. The downtime is less than a c section and most patients have much less of a recovery due to having a c section previously. The scar for the tummy tuck is usually much lower than the c section scar.

You will get the flattest tummy with a full tummy tuck. It does entail a sizable scar however. Only you could decide whether the scar is worth it. Anything short of the full tummy tuck will give dissappointing results.

I do not believe you would benefit from a full tummy tuck as you do not appear to have enough skin. You would be better off with a mini tummy tuck with liposuction, which would revise the scar from your previous c-sections.

Based on the photo, you appear to be very fit with limited amount of extra fat deposits or excess skin for a full tummy tuck. Revision of your c-section scar can be one option to improve appearance of your lower abdomen, but I would recommend to wait till at least 1 year from the c-section procedure to allow for the complete wound healing. 
You may be a candidate for liposuction, however, it's difficult to tell based only on one photo. 
I would recommend to obtain an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to further discuss your options and expectations.

You would probably do well with a mini tuck which could also tighten your lower abdominal muscles. Liposuction with minimally invasive skin tightening like ThermiTight could also help.
