Thank you for your question regarding uneven thighs 1 year after a thigh liposuction procedure. Based on your history, pictures and no physical examination, I would suggest a medial or inner thigh lift. Since you have loose thigh skin, especially after thigh liposuction, I believe further thigh liposuction will lead to even more loose thigh skin. In your thigh pictures, you grip an area of the upper inner thigh that has loose upper thigh skin. I believe your best option would be a modified vertical medial thigh lift. During the modified vertical medial thigh lift, inner thigh liposuction is performed and then, an incision is made from the groin partially down the inner thigh. A large elliptical area of upper thigh skin and fat is then removed from the inner thigh. That excess thigh skin and fat that you are holding in your pictures is removed forever. The modified vertical medial thigh lift incision is hidden on the inseam of the thighs. When your legs are together, this modified vertical medial thigh lift scar is not visible. The modified vertical medial thigh lift procedure is performed under general anesthesia and takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to perform. Plan on a 2 to 3 weeks recovery.
