I had my inner and outer thighs and inner knee done three days ago. I am planning to go back to work tomorrow ( I work as a restaurant manager and I have to stand and walk for at least 6 hours a day). I am afraid that going back to work can have some negative impact on my health or lipo results.

Answer: Walking after Liposuction Liposuction does not involve any stitches or other surgical maneuvers that require immobility to allow you to heal. Liposuction is all about removing fat. After surgery it is nearly impossible to hurt fat that has already been removed.I tell my patients that they can resume physical activity as tolerated. However, if you plan on working and walking around after surgery then you can expect to be very sore and tired. More importantly, your swelling and bruising may be worse in the short term than if you had just been a couch potato.
