Scar tissue reforming after untethering it from gynecomastia surgery. Any advice?

I had a tethered scar from a gynecomastia surgery and I had my surgeon treat it by numbing the area and then using needles to “untether it”. It helped a bit and it’s still a bit better but It’s mostly still tethered, I’m assuming because of new scar tissue that is forming as a result of trying to unthether it. I’d say it’s 40% better. Do you think I should just Keep getting it untethered until it gets better each time? Any other options of tips? Thanks! I do have pics if needed.
