I never had any rippling/cellulite before my bbl, I have noticed this is a commom issue for those who have had this procedure done, you can even see it in Kim Kardashian & it makes me wonder with all the money she has, seems like she cant get rid of it either. Is there any lasers/creams anything that can help with this, the best way I can describe it is it looks like cellulite or rippling, its mostly on the hip area where i had fat transfered as well. Any recommendations please.
Answer: Cellulite/Rippling After BBL It is possible that the contour irregularities you are seeing are related to the fat transfer procedure (Brazilian Butt Lift). Liposuction itself can sometimes make cellulite appear worse because cellulite is really a series of fibrous connections between the skin and the underlying fascial layers over the muscle. The fat that is between can serve as a sort of buffer making cellulite appear less obvious. So, when patients lose weight or have the fat surgically removed, that buffer can be diminished making the abnormal fibrous connections stand out more. The grafting of the fat to certain areas can also create contour irregularities, but for different reasons including the irregular placement of the fat or that some of the grafted fat survived while other areas did not and were reabsorbed. There is no cure for true cellulite, however if you feel that some of your concerns were only present after surgery, it’s best to meet with your plastic surgeon and give her/him a chance to discuss what they think may be causing the problem and potential solutions. Best of luck!

Answer: Is this rippling/cellulite caused by BBL? Thank you for your question. At this time there is no treatment for cellulite. In some patients cellulite and/or contour irregularities can become more pronounced after a BBL and liposuction. Cellulite occurs due to fibrous connective cords that tether the skin to the underlying muscle, with the fat lying between. As fat cells become larger, they push up against the skin, while the fibrous tough cords pull down, which give the dimple appearance.
