I'm very private, so I don't have many photos that i'm willing to upload. But I couldn't wait to review this amazing doctor. I had my surgery 7 weeks ago, tummy tuck and thighs liposuction and I'm so pleased . In addition to his amazing work he’s available to answer anything after surgery and do his best to see me if I need to , Dr. Sofer has best patient coordinator in the CT office( Jennifer) available 24/7 to answer any questions she’s very patient and helpful. I recommend dr sofer to my sister and close friend.
Dr sofer was amazing!! I had a mmo done on 1/5/2021 at cg cosmetics in Miami, I love my results, he was very sweet and listening to everything I wanted done to my body. I recommend dr sofer to anyone looking to get snatched! But I do not recommend cg cosmetics to anyone who wants a personal experience. They were very in and out, fast food plastic surgery if you will. I went thru a back door for my surgery, stuck in a small room literally the size of a closet. The nurse took my urine sample for a drug screening then got some of my urine on her glove and tried to use that same glove to put my iv in and left dirty supplies all in the room with me, so I did my research.. cg isn’t like a regular plastic surgeon office, it’s a huge building owned by one person where surgeons just come and travel do surgerys and leave, it was so comforting that my doctor spoke English even tho I only met him about 10 mins before my surgery. Loved dr sofer!! I would follow his work anywhere expect for that pig factory
My mommy makeover procedure was on December 15, 2021 at 8:00 am at CGCosmetics. I personally requested Dr. Sofer because I did a lot of research and loved his work. My experience with Dr. Sofer was comforting and he answered all my questions. He was very patient with me and ask me what I wanted my body to look like. I gave him some ideas and he recommended my breast size 445cc which I am happy I went with. He went over my medical history and start marking my body and explained every step of the markings. For example: He was going to do liposuction on my love handles, cutting this part and so on and so forth. I absolutely love my results. I’m 17 days post op. I will upload more pictures after I finally heal. If anyone is interested in getting plastic surgery I highly highly recommend Dr. Sofer he’s located in Miami at CGCosmetics and other locations. I hope this review will help you all. Thank you, Detrona
I'm very private, so I don't have many photos that i'm willing to upload. But I couldn't wait to review this amazing doctor. I'm a 33 y/o black female with 2 children, and desperately wanted my 20 y/o body back. I had my surgery 5 days ago, and I'm so pleased with the results and cant stay out of the mirror. The belly button he gave me looks so good and natural! My boobs look great. If i can later, I promise I will update with pics of my tummy tuck scar once my bandages and drains are removed. In addition to his amazing work, Dr. Sofer has a very calm and friendly demeanor, and I felt very comfortable within him.
I've always had small boobs with nice cleavage. But I knew I wanted a boob job ever since high school. I went through CG cosmetics but Dr. Sofer did a nice job. Photo is before&after surgery, same day Updated on 3 Oct 2021: For me to be shy of 3 WPO my right boob (tattoo) is becoming super soft & kinda spilling over to my side if I lay on my side. I have a larger implant on the right as well & it’s accentuated my asymmetry but my boobs were never twins to begin with. It’s just noticeable to me. Updated on 3 Oct 2021: Updated on 25 Oct 2021: They’ve dropped a lot & they are very soft and squishy. Updated on 1 Nov 2021: Swelling is all gone & they’re very soft & the bounce with me! Updated on 25 Dec 2021: So it’s been well over 3 months since my surgery and my boobs have undergone many changes and I’ve been in flux about how I feel about them, mostly because I’ve been suffering from boob greed the moment I came out of surgery. Above all, I know Dr. Sofer picked the sizes that were perfectly proportionate to my body while also giving me the dramatic results I was looking for. I just keep looking at women with larger ccs wishing I could have gotten them, maybe 450 ccs. I have 375 in the left and 425 in the right. I already knew my boobs wouldn’t be identical, it’s just the asymmetry I more noticeable when they’re bigger. My smaller boob used to the one with 425 ccs but now it’s the bigger one. Everyone says that don’t notice it but I do. Especially when I take pics on my iPhone camera, I always have to mirror the image so it looks right. You could screenshot my photo and flip it and see what I mean. But aside from that my healing has went great. They’re super soft and squishy. Not too happy about the placement of The incision on my right breast, doesn’t quite sit in the fold like the left does. But I get many compliments on them often so I am happy :) Updated on 29 Apr 2022: I’m in a love/hate relationship due to the noticeable asymmetry. I know they’re sisters and not twins, but when I take photos on my back camera, I have to flip it because I can’t stand the different shapes. But besides that I’m healing well and they look natural.
I got my surgery about 6 weeks ago at CG Cosmetics in Miami, Fl. My surgeon was Dr. Sofer. He was nice for the 5 minutes I got to be in his presence. The staff is nice too but they’re not very efficient. Wait times are forever, they don’t answer the phones for aftercare and you meet your doctor on the day of surgery. This is more of a place for plastic surgery pros; not first timers like I was. As far as my actual procedure, my stomach is still open (like, literally OPEN) so I can’t really comment on that until it’s closed. My sides are healing nicely but the center of my incision is still gaping. I called the center and was told I’d be fine so I’m still waiting.... Updated on 25 Mar 2021: Quick update... my stomach is still open but it’s closed considerably in the last 2 weeks.. I’m also starting to have the feeling return to my stomach. I’m recording my journey on YouTube: https://youtube.com/c/dasouthernbelleofla
Just got my BBL with Sofer on Tuesday, very nice & made me feel comfortable. Explained very well what was going to be done. Got my work done by him at CG Cosmetic in Miami. Love my results so far. Will update further into my journey :)
I'm already scheduled for my surgery June 30th, with Dr.Sofer. I've seen results from a friend and decided to go with him for my BBL. I hope to just be able to answer questions and give honest feedback on the BBL recovery & entire process. June 27th, 2020 My surgery is a few days away. I'm cleaning my home so it's prepared when I return from surgery. I hav 2 toddlers so having their things prepped for my husband is just as important. I tried on my stage 2 faja and post surgery faja, and just want to say wish I knew about these along time ago. They really assist in giving a waist. It gave me an idea what I hope my waist to look like post surgery. I'm very square shaped and as much a I want a plump booty, I am really looking forward to more of a curvy shape. 6/30/2020 Surgery went amazing! Dr. Sofer did great work & the anesthesiologist made me feel at ease. I'll post more on my experience, but if I could rate the entire procedure & work all around, Dr. Sofer does amazing work. The facility itself had some issues, but he isn't responsible for that process so I'm rating him solely in my review. Updated on 3 Jul 2020: I’ve gone through 2 massages and pressure seeing the progress. I love the results. Updated on 8 Jul 2020: I am loving my results! Still swollen a bit, but feeing so much better. Trust the process ladies. I’m in love w my stomach and shape. Updated on 15 Aug 2020: It’s been a journey, but so worth it. I am officially past the 6 week stretch. I’m still sore in some areas, but finally feeling normal again. Here’s my latest picture.
I Got a Breast implant exchange/revision and a BBL with Dr. Sofer on 5/29/20 through CG Cosmetics. I only saw him right prior to my surgery, however, he was so sweet and genuine. Some surgeons have no personality or come off very rude- he was not at all. He made me feel fully understood and comfortable. He answered all my questions and concerns, explained in medical detail what was going to be done, and measured me and assessed me thoroughly. My results are amazing even though I am about 2 weeks PO, He literally took away all the fat around my abdomen and flanks, made my breasts perfect the way I wanted them, and my butt perky and round. I couldn't be happier with my results and his stitching work. (I am almost a nurse practitioner so I evaluated every aspect of this surgery). so bottom line HE WAS AMAZING, GO TO HIM. BUTTTTT, CG cosmetics in Miami, where he practices is horrible. My surgery coordinator was terrible, they were so busy, unorganized, they need major improvements.
I had my first son 18 yrs ago. I said then I wanted breast implants. 17 yrs ago, had my 2nd son... Again said I'll get a breast augmentation. 16 yrs ago my first daughter was born. Still wanting breast implants. Finally 12 yrs ago my last daughter was born. My want for breast implants has never changed and I was fortunate enough to have no stretch marks on my belly, I always went right back to my pre pregnancy size (1-3) and weight (115-120). But after my last daughter, I began working out in about 2012. I was in great shape, the just stopped. I noticed my c section scars were beginning to have a "shelf" above them... My want for breast implants slot changed to wanting a tummy tuck. Finally, this year 2020, I decided to do both. And this is my journey. Updated on 15 Apr 2020: I forgot to mention, the pain I felt when I woke up in recovery was the worst pain I'd ever felt in my life! It was more in my breasts, I was expecting to feel an engorged feeling, but I cannot describe the pain I felt. It was so bad. They gave me IV pain meds before discharge, as soon I got into my vehicle I took the pain medication they prescribed along with a muscle relaxer. It eases the pain just enough to get to the hotel 20 minutes away. By that time I was crying, my husband was getting my bedside set up so I can be sitting up. I woke up every 2 hours in excruciating pain. Finally I decided to double the the dose of pain meds, as it was a low dose I was given, take my muscle relaxer and another med I was prescribed and was able to sleep for 4 hours. I know everyone has a different pain tolerance, but wow! I didn't know mine had changed so much over the years since my last C-section. It took at least 1 1/2- 2 weeks before I no longer Rx pain medication. I still was taking a muscle relaxer though. Updated on 21 Apr 2020: Here I am 7 weeks post op today. My breast are completely healed and feel fine. If I didn't know I had implants I'd think they were mine. My tummy on the other hand, I still have 3 tiny areas, which are pictured, that are healing because at my 4 week post op Dr. had to cut some meat out of these areas that weren't healing. There were internal sutures coming through. So those areas were little holes left to heal. I feel like my entire tummy scar is getting darker. I am not happy with the shape of it in the first place, how right in the center it goes up, see in the pictures, but now the whole thing is getting darker despite me putting scar gel everyday. I don't know how long the pain in the abdomen is supposed to last, but my mid abdomen from right above my belly button to about 3-4 inches below my breasts, the area where my muscles were repaired and stitched together, is still pretty sore. It still feels like I've done 500 crunches. When I put pressure on the area, it feels better. I still am wearing my compression garment and ab board. If I don't wear them, it feels like my insides will fall out. Sometimes when I go out, driving, getting in and out of the car, walking around long times, well, right before the quarantine, my tummy would be so painful and uncomfortable I'd have to stay in the car. I asked my Dr. how long this pain usually lasts, but still waiting on a response. Updated on 24 May 2020: I'm healing well I suppose. The places on my TT incision where the necrosis was the worst and the incision became wide, the scar is now much thicker and lumpy. (Mainly in the center) Towards the outer of my TT incision, it is smooth, almost seamless and close to being unnoticeable, like my C-section scar. My breast incisions are not quite as seamless as I'd like, but that is ok, no one will see. My pain in my abdomen is subsiding. Along with time and a little more activity I do, it seems like the better it gets. Some days my belly feels and looks bloated and is more painful than others, I wear my faja, foams and boards at night then. If I'm not going out I wear them at the house. If I go out, I take them off. Still, so far so good. I still feel it was worth it. I also feel if I had emailed my Dr sooner, when the "white meat" was the worst, about 2-3 weeks post op, maybe he could have put more surgical glue, maybe? And that part or the scar wouldn't be so thick and lumpy. I feel it is that way because it was wide when it healed. Updated on 24 May 2020: Photos 11 wks 5 days post op. I forgot to post with my update. So here they are.... They last picture just shows where the areas are now lumpy and was taken 13 days post op. I just wish I had a booty.... It's flatter than those pancakes momma used to make...lol. But my husband says I have to workout and do some squats and put time in the gym for that. Updated on 6 Feb 2023: So I had a mmo in March of 2020. I'm posting this a little late, but this is my 2.5 year update. As you can see I've gained some weight, even after eating healthy, working out and lifting weights. But the weights might be what's putting the weight on, I just can't seem to get my stomach looking anymore slimmer. I have been doing my squats and deadlifts and I think you can see a difference. (If you read my previous posts you'll know what I'm talking about, lol) But overall, I'm happy with the results I got from my mmo. You definitely have to work at keeping your body looking like it did 5 months after sx. I think I will be getting some airsculpting done. Stay tuned for those posts and updates.
Thank you for your question. It appears that you would not need a lift however, multiple factors need to be taken into consideration when addressing breast enhancement. In addition to volume, the position of the nipple/areola relative to the breast fold, and the laxity of the tissue envelope surrounding the breast mound need to be addressed. All this will require a full exam of your breast and measurement of certain landmarks before decision is made as whether a lift is necessary and what technique of lift would be beneficial. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon for further individualized information
Thank you for your question. Based on photos, you appear to be a great candidate for breast augmentation. However, the consultation is key to discussing your desired goals specifically in terms of volume, asymmetry, and upper pole fullness as that will be a big part of the surgical plan. An in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon would be needed to determine what is best for you.
Thank you for your question. Breast implants are most often placed under the pectoralis muscle to decrease descent of the implant, capsular contracture, and palpability of the implant. This provides an added layer of tissue over the implant and helps to conceal the shape and outline of the implant. However, an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon will be needed to determine what is best.
Thank you for your question. Based on your photo, you will likely need a mastopexy (breast lift) in conjunction with implants for added fullness in the upper pole which can be done at the same time. I recommend discussing with your board certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your question. Without a proper consultation it is difficult to make a recommendation, however you appear to be a candidate for a tummy tuck. If you are planning on having children in the future, it is best to wait until after your pregnancies to consider this procedure. My best recommendation would be to start a proper diet and exercise regimen. I advise consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon for further individualized advice. Best of luck to you
