Do my nasolabial folds look overfilled? Would you recommend using something to dissolve the Juvederm? (Photos)

I can understand your concerns but there is a fair amount of swelling that develops initially after injections into the face and I would allow 1-2 weeks to pass before assessing your results.  There is safety in that Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid based filler and can be dissolved if you do not like your long-term results.  Hope this helps.

You can't possibly make any assessment of your result 1 day after having the injection.  This may actually swell more over the next few days.  The good news is that if you are not happy with the result after the swelling goes down (give it at least a week), then the filler can be dissolved with an enzyme.  

Sorry you are feeling overfilled. Since you just had the injection performed,  you may be experiencing some swelling which can often happen after an injection. Try to wait another week or two before drawing final judgments. If you still are unhappy, you can have a reversal injection performed to remove it. Good luck!

Give it a few days for swelling to resolve. If you are not happy, it can be dissolved. See link below for examples. 

Since you just had filler placed, you might be swollen and should give it time to settle down.  Best of luck with your results.

I understand your concern. a small change in facial appearance and expression can be very disconcerting, especially for a first time filler patient. how ever, Although I do see over filled nasolabial fold every day, Yours don't seem significantly overfilled considering its just a day out. Juvederm can cause. Lot of local swelling, and it can take up to two weeks for final results to show. Remember, the filler will gradually dissolve on its own in a few months, but if after a while you are still unhappy, a small amount of an enzyme called vitrase can resolve the issue.best of luck!

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs.  Sorry that you are having some concerns about your postprocedure appearance.  Please keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks to see your final result.  Swelling and bruising after filler injection is normal.  Icing can help for up to 48 hours postprocedure.  Arnica can also help to minimize postprocedure swelling and bruising.  Gentle massage may be beneficial.  My best advice would be to give it a full 2 weeks to allow for normal postprocedure swelling and bruising to resolve and to see your final result.  At that point, if you continue to have any concerns, please be sure to see an experienced injector for an in-person reevaluation in order to best address your concerns and to determine the best course of action.  Best wishes!

Thank you for your question.  Please wait a week to reevaluate your nasolabial folds as there is swelling present.  If after a week you are still unhappy please follow up with a board certified Dermatologist to reverse the filler with hyaluronidase.  It is difficult to see your midface (cheeks)  in the pictures, but more than likely this would have been the correct place to fill.  Regards, Dr. Matt Elias

Less is always more with the nasolabial folds in a younger patient, probably in most patients. It is normal to have some fold. I would just wait for it to wear off some over the course of the next 6 months, at which point it will look a little more natural.
