Thank you for your question. Yes, it is possible, but it really depends on how lengthy the body lift procedure will be. This may range from a few hours if you just have loose skin, to 8-9 hours if you have to factor in some liposuction or very extensive amounts of skin. Typically, I recommend starting with the body lift and saving the arm lift for another surgery, often combined with a breast or thigh lift procedure in as staged fashion. Check with your board certified plastic surgeon. Best wishes.
Yes, an arm lift or brachioplasty and a 360 circumferential lower bodylift can be performed at the same time. If the procedures are combined, the surgery and anesthesia are longer. Combining the arm lift and the lower body lift does increase your risks during surgery and after surgery.Even though the arm lift and the 360 circumferential lower body lift can be performed, I do not suggest it. The reason for this is that you need your arms to help pull yourself from the bed after the body lift. After the 360 circumferential lower bodylift, you will not be able to use your core muscles nor abdominal muscles. Typically, during the body lift, these muscles are tightened. After the body lift, these muscles will be tight and sore. So to get up and out of bed, you will need to rely on your upper body strength. If you had just had arm reduction surgery or a bracioplasty, this will be very difficult. My final answer is that yes, an arm lift (brachioplasty) and a 360 circumferential lower bodylift can be performed together, however I do not suggest it.
If your health is good, yes, a lower body lift and an arm lift can be done at the same time, but it would best be done by a team of surgeons to decrease your time in the operating room. You should probably spend one evening in a monitored environment and plan to have good help at home for several days after your surgery. Your benefit would be correcting your entire trunk and your arms at the same time but it must be planned so it's done safely for you.
