I received 50 units of Botox and the next morning I woke up with a swollen forehead & eyelids. I sent the images to the aesthetician and she said I had a sinus infection & bacteria got into the injection site. She gave me a prescription for Medrol dose & a z pack. After 10 days, I was back to normal but all of my wrinkles came back too (last picture). Is she correct? Am I allergic or was it just a bad reaction? I keep reading there are no reports of allergic reactions. So what happened to me?

Hello and thank you for your question. I’m not sure what Kendall used but you can absolutely accomplish this look with Botox. I doubt she had surgery. If you decide to go the Botox route, please find a very experienced medical professional. Best wishes.

I would not recommend having large doses of Botox in the upper lip area. You can have filler placed in the lips and lines around the lips and this will improve the area with a much better and longer lasting result. Best, Dr. Green
