Does fat transfer to the shoulders add actual measurable width?

Basically I don't have big shoulders, I am tall and have a good amount of fat. I've been looking for way to widen my shoulders but no doctor offers clavicle lengthening that I know of. I want to widen my shoulder girdle atleast 2cm on each shoulder. Will fat transfer add that amount of width and can it be permanent or am I better off opting for implants? Again I know fat transfer does not increase clavicle width but how much does the fat increase your shoulder by?

Yes, I  inject your own fat over and within the deltoid muscles to give definition and volume. Depending on your personal anatomy, more fat might be needed on the front of the shoulder or the center or the back to give a more rounded shoulder. When fat is injected into muscles, the survival is increased because of the rich blood supply of the muscles.

Fat transfer will add more overall size but is unlikely to increase your shoulder width by 2 cms per side. But then again neither is an implant either. If you have the fat it would best to initially do a fat transfer and see what results are achieved. Even if it does not create as much shoulder width as you want, the tissues will be much better prepared to accept an implant (tissue expansion and padding effect) which can finally get you to the shoulder width you are seeking.

Yes. Fat can be injected into the shoulders. I use a technique where fat is injected into the skin above the muscle and into the muscle. The fat can shape the shoulders to a more rounded look and give a broader shoulder.
