I am wondering if the fat graft will last for awhile and if an over filled look is safe? Thank you!

Fat grafting is safe and long lasting. Technique is important to maintain fat transfer results. I use gentle water-assisted harvesting to get the most viable fat to transfer. Thank you for posting your question. An in-person evaluation with an experienced physician is necessary to determine whether you are a good candidate for fat transfer procedure. On average, half of the transferred fat is eventually reabsorbed, so you need to have enough excess fat to achieve a significant change. Having implants may also be a good option.
