Fat grafting is safe and long lasting. Technique is important to maintain fat transfer results. I use gentle water-assisted harvesting to get the most viable fat to transfer. Thank you for posting your question. An in-person evaluation with an experienced physician is necessary to determine whether you are a good candidate for fat transfer procedure. On average, half of the transferred fat is eventually reabsorbed, so you need to have enough excess fat to achieve a significant change. Having implants may also be a good option. I recommend meeting with some physicians in-person to find out about your options. Best of luck.
