You are pregnant, your body will continue to go through changes throughout the pregnancy and for at least 6 months after delivery. No point in risking any harm to the unborn especially when you may better benefit from an entirely different procedure when all is said and done. By the way, be sure to due all your research on Emscupt to buttock first, if not you may be gravely disappointed with the results. Be patient in the meantime . Glad to help.
Hi gp,Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! There have probably been many women in their first few weeks of pregnancy who have been treated with Emsculpt before they were aware of their early pregnancy. It is one thing to be treated unknowingly, it would be against the standard of care if a known pregnant woman is treated with Emsculpt. Enjoy your pregnancy and new addition to your family. The good news is that Emsculpt on your abdominal muscles post-partum will help the muscles return toward normal. Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA
Thank you for asking your question. EmSculpt is typically a very safe and non-invasive procedure. However, while being pregnant, you do not want to do anything that could potentially harm you or your baby. I would suggest doing squats and exercising on your own time as it is healthy for the pregnancy (to an extent) and you will see some results that you want. Wishing you all the best.
Id suggest no cosmetic treatments when you are pregnant, however, theoretically it should have no role on pregnancy if you do this on your buttock. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question.Pregnancy makes your body changes and you are just begging this wonderful woman phase. I will recommend you to enjoy how your body change and take care of your baby, and after you deliver if you still wants to get plastic surgery, contact a Board certified plastic surgeon.Again, enjoy your baby first.Best of luck,Dr. Quiroz!
If your planning on keeping the baby it’s likely not a good idea to do anything unnecessary at this point. I would postpone all treatments until after you deliver. Your body is going to change during pregnancy anyways. Best
Hi and thanks for your question!Emsculpt and Emsculpt Neo treatments are not recommended at any time during pregnancy. You should be safe to begin treatments 6-8 weeks after a normal deliver, as long as you are cleared by your OB doctor.Hope this helps!
EMSculpt works by utilizing magnetic stimulation that causes muscular super contractions. I would avoid any high-intensity contractions in the area close to the pelvis to avoid a possible miscarriage. Consult with your doctor to know more about this procedure.
Thank you for your question. As with almost all elective cosmetic procedures, it is contraindicated to have Emsculpt performed during pregnancy. The health of you and your baby is the primary concern during this time period, which fortunately is a limited time frame. You could consider having the Emsculpt procedure following your pregnancy.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, being pregnant is a contraindication to the Emsculpt device. Therefore, you would not be an ideal candidate for the treatment. Please seek a Board- Certified Health Care Provider to determine if there are other options for you.
No, it can’t. It primarily works by activating the muscles. It has minimal to no effect on adipose tissue and definitely can’t fix fibrosis.
EMSculpt defines and sculpts. It does this by utilizing magnetic stimulation to cause muscular super contractions. It would not be an issue if you don't have any metal plates or implants in those areas. I would still confirm with your doctor to make sure.
We are the Northeast #1 provider of BioTe hormone replacement therapy. Hundreds of our patients are pelleted subdermally with testosterone. Emsculpt is also a huge piece of our practice. We have not had any problems with doing both treatments of our patients at all. Good...
