Hi, I received injections of Dysport in the glabella and around my eyes. 3 days later when the Dysport supposedly started to kick in I started to feel a discomfort on my left eye. I feel like my left eye is more sensitive to light and also like I have a foreign body in it. It is been very hard to work on the computer. I saw an optometrist who said there is nothing wrong with my eye whatsoever. Could it be from the Dysport? Will it go away, I’m on day 9 now.Thank you

Answer: Dysport/Botox/Xeomin & Eye discomfort--results resolve in 3-4 months
Bruising can result from Dysport injections. It's best to avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, Omega 3's, vitamin E, and other blood thinning agents a week prior to injections. Icing the area prior and after injections and using Arnica can be helpful in minimizing bruising.
Based on the dose you were given it would be uncommon for Dysport to already be wearing off. Typically neuromodulators' effects fade gradually over three to four months. I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation or if you prefer, visit another injector for a second opinion.
I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing after your Dysport treatment. I encourage you to visit with your mental health professional to discuss your concerns. The effects of Dysport will wear off gradually over the next three to four months.
