Dark bruising along previous c-section scar after tumescent lipo?

It is not unusual to have increased bruising in scared areas especially if an incision was made over the previous C Section scar. This should resolve without problem.  All The Best !

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. Post operative bruising and swelling are to be expected. Areas of scar tend to be slightly more resistant to treatment. For this reason, there may have been relatively more trauma as your surgeon attempted to negotiate a scarred in area. This should resolve over the 4-6 weeks following the procedure.As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Near your scar you have scar tissue inside that your surgeon had to push through for liposuction. It should slowly settle. Arnica can be helpful to decrease bruising and swelling. Please discuss any concerns you have with your surgeon.
