I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol regarding compression. I have my patients wear compression for 3-6 weeks straight then overnight for 3-6 months after their procedure. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. You should wear compression garments for 3 months, but the material is thin and may not be noticed as something unusual.

These are questions that you should take up with  your surgeon . Every surgeon can have a different schedule for garment wear. I usually have my patients wear arm garments for only 24-48 hrs postop. I also allow them to return to work as soon as they choose. Most will be back at work within 1-3 days. Again , check with your own surgeon for their recommendations. Dr Crabtree
