Ideal candidates are at a stable weight,  in good health , and have excess fat in some parts of the body and too little in other regions.  Gaining weight before the procedure is to no advantage and when you lose weight again the fat cells will shrink just like the donor site fat cells.  Typically, the transferred fat results in a significant increase in volume of the body site being treated.

Without pre op pictures, it's difficult to tell what kind of result you have obtained. I recommend you review your pictures before and after surgery with your surgeon to get their opinion about what type of result could be obtained by a second procedure.

Although it's best to wait at least 6 months between procedures, I don't see a significant amount of fat to utilize for another round. It's a great idea to discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon, particularly in concerns to your abdomen and lower back. It's possible that you still have residual swelling in those regions and an examination by him would go a long way in determining the best long term plan.Hope this helps. I would suggest waiting a full 6 months to allow your body to completely heal before considering a revision.  

If you have additional donor sites then it is possible to add more fat to the buttocks. Good luck with your decision to move forward.

I think it is too soon to go back for a second go. You still have  residual swelling and need to just continue to wear your compression garments as directed by your physician. I would wait six months and then revisit this and see what your plastic surgeon thinks is the right course of action then. Best wishes.
