After aggressive Microneedling with PRP and how long after procedure should you peel?

I had my procedure last Wednesday 2/7 /2018 I started peeling. I am still peeling a lot No creams is helping to come it down My skin looks horrible wrinkles with a lot of tracks and lines from procedure

Peeling is not typical after microneedling. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care. I suggest LED therapy, growth factors, proper after care. I always combine microneedling with prp and lasers to get the best outcomes. Best, Dr. Emer

This is a good question.  I really depends on the depth of microneedling of microneedling.  Usually for skin turnover it can take up to 2 weeks.  However it does not mean that the whole skin takes that length of time to turnover. Usually we see that our patients can take 5-7 days for skin flaking and peeling.  Using emollients and creams help.  It sounds that you might be dissatisfied with your care and I recommend I that you see the treating physician.  Best of luck!

Microneedling is a great treatment for wrinkle reduction, collagen stimulation, scar tissue improvement. It is a medical procedure and should be performed by an experienced physician. There is absolutely no peeling associated with microneedling. You should follow up with the physician who performed the procedure.

HI Madzia, We encounter flaking and peeling after microneedling, although not to the same extent as chemical peels. I am a little worried about the "wrinkling". Sometimes it appears that way before the old skin sloughs off. There are some skincare that specialize on helping the skin heal. TNS complex is one of them Please go back to your Provider.
