I am concerned about the loss of volume after about 4 weeks with the juvederm. My lips return to the thin, uneven problems long before 6 months . Due to cost , not to mention PAIN, in this recurrent situation, I am considering lip implants, or lip lift. Do you you think either of these options would help me with this problem? In your honest opinion, would either of these help to improve my crooked, thin, aging lips without making things worse?

Lip Implants move and become problematic. There is no way to reposition the implant and fix it in the new position. Your best bet is remove, let it recover then fillers, fat grafting or SILIKON 1000 injection by an experienced injector.
You may be a candidate for a lip lift rather than repeating fillers. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
