My arms are hard and swollen -- is this normal after arm liposuction? (Photos)

I had arm liposuction and a BBL on July 28th. My arms are hard, swollen, and distorted. On occasion I get shooting pains. I had the procedures performed in Miami but my doctor hasn't responded to my calls or texts. Are my arms infected? Seroma? Or am i healing normally? I do massages and wear compression sleeves daily..

hello 2017Ghuranidoll Liposuction patients can see results of their procedures as early as 10-14days after the procedure, but improvements continue 4-6 months afterwards as swellings and irregularities resolve. Patient’s scars will mature following surgery; they may be red or raised for the first few months, but after 6–12 months they will soften, lighten, and become less noticeable. Laser treatments available at the Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery can quicken the healing of scars and reduce them significantly. Numbness around suction area will improve a few weeks after the procedure; lumpiness will also decrease with time although massaging can quicken the softening. It is normal to have swelling and some tenderness after arm liposuction for 6-12 weeks and should be pretty much the same on both sides. If one arm is more swollen than the other, there is significant redness, or fevers, you need to see your surgeon or another Plastic Surgeon in your area for an evaluation

Bruising and swelling is common after liposuction and can persist up to  2 months. Clinical  results show at 4 months post liposuction.  If you are experiencing fever, excess pain, you need to see an MD and get assessed for potential complications.
