I am sad my allergist recommended against Botox, after using it for 2 years I had a hive immediately after the injection, it was itchy and lasted for several hours, the itching went away after 30 minutes. My allergist whom I was told to see before any more treatments was a conservative older doctor who said since I was using it cosmetically to not risk it again in case an anaphlaytic reaction. At this point, I am very disappointed. Can I try Xeomin, or am I really out of options?

You should be examined by your injector as to the cause of the most recent changes. I would not be surprised if the recommend a higher dose of Xeonim next time. It must be done when your skin has cleared up, however.Good luck, Dr. ALDO
