I had my zygoma reduced 5 years ago and it didn't come out aesthetically pleasing. Is it possible to widen the zygoma back out using and an interpositional implant? Rather than a whole cheek implant? Is it possible to use an interpositional Titanium implant to push my cheekbones back out? I feel a bone graft from the skull or hip will resorb and won't give a thin contour to fill in the gap. I'm looking to widen the cheekbones back out but also have volume underneath the eye area. Is it difficult to remove the wire or has it fused to my bone after all this time?
