How long does it take to recover after a fat transfer from the stomach to the butt and what is the price range?

The usual recovery time for this procedure is 2 weeks. After surgery you will not be able to sit or lay on your back for 2 weeks (depending on the surgeons specific guidelines). Price varies on surgeon and location, generally ranging from 8500-12000. Ensure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. 

In Atlanta, our Brazilian butt lift includes removing fat and

I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol.
I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. It is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions.
The average cost and payment plans varies a lot depending on the clinic, the country, city and the plastic surgeon. It also depends on the number of areas treated with liposuction. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

Recovery after BBL requires offloading of pressure on buttocks for 2 weeks.  You will walk the day of surgery. The BBL procedure involves harvest fat from areas of your body where there is excess fat and injecting that fat carefully into the central zone of your buttock. In addition, it involves liposculpting the buttock to facilitate a more rounded look. Most patients return to light duty work in 3-5 days.  Light exercise and physical activity is allowed in the first few days.  Strenuous exercise is limited for 4-6 weeks due to potential soft tissue trauma and swelling in the grafted areas.

Most patient feel pretty well at 5 days.  Most can resume most work-type activities in 7-10 days, with care being taken to not sit directly on the buttocks.It would be unlikely that enough fat could be removed from the abdomen to perform buttock fat grafting.  So, consider other areas for liposuction.  The flanks and low back are often suctioned during this procedure.Best wishes, Dr. Connall
