I had my bbl procedure done January 15 of this year I caught COVID on July 29th of this year I lost like 10 pounds mainly my hips and butt area I wanted to know if I start gaining my weight back will it go back to my butt and hips area again ? I really want my weight back in those areas my stomach is super flat I have no more fat to transfer.

Weight loss, weight gain and exercise do affect BBL results. The fat transferred to your buttocks is affected in the same manner as when you normally lose weight or gain weight or exercise.

`Hi, that is an excellent question! I’m glad you got out of COVID ok. The answer is yes. That is the great thing about a BBL. The fat cells remember! If you gain or lose weight the BBL gains or losses volume. So gaining weight should give you back your BBL results. Every patient has a diferente sweet spot, so just make sure to gain the right amount for you!

In our experience with fat grafting, it takes good 8-12 months for result to settle and mature; volume that you have at that time should be considered stable. If you gain or loose weight after that period, your fat content will increase or decrease  proportionately to other body areas. That is your own fat and should behave like fat anywhere else in your body. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
After a BBL, you lose or gain weight in the same way as before. So the answer is yes, if you go back to your previous weight, you should see your previous results, but I encourage you to maintain a clean and healthy diet, along with exercise.
If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up close with your plastic surgeon.
