I've recently had Juvederm in my lips. Will exposure to the sun or to heat make it less effective?

As part of Botox aftercare I always suggest staying clear of temperature related activities such as sauna, steam room, sun beds, sunbathing alongside excess exercise as a precautionary measure for 48hours.
This can increase the risk of bruising and potentially interfere with the affectivity of the product.

Juvederm will not be affected by sun exposure . Wear a good sunscreen and enjoy your holiday . 

The filler in your lips will not be affected by the heat or the sun whatsoever. Using a lip moisturizer (with spf if in sun) will keep your lips hydrated and protected from possible sunburn. As always remember to use sunscreen and use the shade when possible.

However, technique is very important when having lip augmentation, therefore you will want to see an expert. Some great fillers to help create a symmetrical lip are Volbella, Restylane and Juvederm.
