After dealing with acne all through my teenage years, I finally went to a derm and got an antibiotic, then benzoyl, then other topicals like Adapalene. After about a year, my skin was finally clear. It was clear for almost 3 years straight. Then, the insurance company sent me a different dosage of the BC I had been on for years, and it made my skin go crazy. I got back on the original dosage after a couple months, but since that initial shock, my skin has not been the same.
