I had 2 eyebrow transplants done...Dec 2011 and May 2013. It's been almost 2 yrs and most of the transplanted hair sticks out. I have tried everything to get the hairs to lay flat. My surgeon said theend up having to trim the hairs extremely short. This issue also causes my eyebrows to look somewhat unnatural. Also, many of the transplanted hairs have fallen out over time and I am thinking I may need a third transplant to get a symmetric shape between both eyebrows. PLEASE HELP!!

Thanks for question. Native eyebrow hairs grow in angles acutely off skin. Thus, the grafts when placed should sit angled off the skin as well, not perpendicular. However, it is difficult to achieve this angle at times. The hairs as they lengthen can be "trained" to sit tighter against the...
If two people were placing the eyebrow hairs at the same time and one was less skilled than the other, then you might see a difference between eyebrows related to the people who placed the grafts. Wait another 2-3 months before drawing any conclusions as the second eyebrow may yet grow.
