Can I have deviated septum/Rhinoplasty and breast augmentation at the same time? Cost?

Both of my passageways are significantly blocked and my family doctor said I have deviated septum, which is bitter sweet I suppose because I have a slight bump I'd like to fix and to narrow my nose out and my insurance can cover it. The downside, I can't breathe! I've always considered BA because my breasts are flatter on top and fuller on the bottom. I'm just wondering if I could get both done the same time, recovery time (when i can lift weights again), and an estimated cost?

Yes both procedures can be done safely together.  This would include a septoplasty and turbinate reduction if necessary to improve your breathing obstruction as well as dorsal hump reduction.  A board certified plastic surgeon is your best bet

Rhinoplasty and functional nasal surgery are frequently performed together.  Adding breast surgery at the same surgery session is fine.  Repair of your nasal airway may require more than a septoplasty.  Frequently the inferior turbinates need to be reduced and in some cases a condition called nasal vestibular stenosis should also be corrected.  Cosmetic rhinoplasty certainly can affect (worsen) the nasal airway so finding an experienced specialist who can address appearance concerns and the various functional issues is important.

It is possible to perform all 3 operations at one time under one anesthetic. The rhinoplasty procedure is the hardest operation to perform in the field of cosmetic surgery, so choose your rhinoplasty surgeon very wisely. A rhinoplasty and a septoplasty are 2 completely separate operations, but both can be performed at the same time. A rhinoplasty is performed for cosmetic purposes and must be paid for by the patient. Closed rhinoplasty techniques can accomplish  shaving down the dorsal hump, narrowing the side walls of the nose, and adjusting the tip as necessary. A septoplasty is performed for a deviated septum once medical necessity has been documented  and is billed to the patient's medical insurance.

HiYes you can definitely have these procedures at the same time and have one downtime and one recovery and reduced Hospital and Anesthesia fees.  Cost of the cosmetic portion varies from surgeon to surgeon.  While a plastic surgeon can do all of these the best outcome is often achieved when you have true #specialists focus on their area of expertise.  No one is an expert in everything.  For example in my practice, I only purely do nose surgery when it comes to my surgical practice so we combine cases with a handful of plastic surgeon who focus on the breast and my patients get the best of both worlds instead of a "Jack of all trades!" Insurance can cover the breathing portion of your nose surgery but it does not pay for cosmetic work whatsoever.
