Ive been doing a lot of research on breast lifts over a few years. I cant exactly find the answer to one question I have about the anchor lift. My breast lack the volume and tightness in the upper part that Im desperately seeking. I would love to have the full, perky, tight breasts that Ive been dreaming of.
Answer: Perky or not? Thanks for your question and the photos. The answer is actually a bit more complex than you might think. You are a good cantidate for an anchor lift, but even after lifting your breasts will regain some droop and will take on a natural tear drop shape. If you add implants you will have more upper pole fullness, but will still regain some droop (which BTW I don't consider a bad thing) because you have a good amount of natural breast tissue and natural tissue will always respond to gravity. The Perkiest patients in my practice are those that start with very little natural tissue. They will be mainly an implant breast an not a natural breast. If they go with a common sense size implant they will be tighter and less droopy for a very long time. If you want tight and perky you might consider a lift with reduction--both tightening and removing the natural tissue that will respond to gravity---- Then followed by a staged augmentation to give upper pole fullness. Now most patients want "one and done" and most don't want to to a reduction, just to have an augmentation, but I hope the concept is making some sense. As you approch this you must be well educated by your PS, because without realistic expectations you run the risk of being disappointed.Best wishe.

Answer: The Bellesoma Method Thank you for your question and photos, The Bellesoma Method is a current technique to lift and/or reduce breasts without using implants or the ugly vertical scars. The incisions are hidden around the areola and in the inframammary crease. The vertical incision has been completely eliminated. The areola incision heals almost invisibly due to the fact that there is hardly any tension on the closure. With this particular technique, ducts are preserved along with nerve supply maintaining nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. Because the breast is reshaped internally and is secured to your chest muscles, upper pole fullness is possible without an implant. Usually patients do not go down in size very much with this technique. Attached is a patient who underwent The Bellesoma Method. Please note that her tissue was used to create upper pole fullness and cleavage without any foreign materials (mesh, implants, etc). It is a proprietary technique that only surgeons that have been trained by me can perform. I hope this helps. Best wishes and kind regards, Dr. Gary Horndeski

Answer: What type of lift In my experience it's possible to deliver very good results in patient like you with a vertical mastopexy technique (aka lollipop lift), so the anchor incision is not needed in my opinion. Costs of plastic surgery depend on the location, how expensive your area is in general, and also the reputation and experience of your plastic surgeon. You can call a few surgeon offices in the area, and most should be able to give you a cost estimate (or a reasonable range) for what you're looking for. Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Be certain your surgeon is properly certified. I've attached a link where you can start your search.

Answer: Will an anchor lift give me the results I desire? Also looking for a estimate of how much this will cost? Hello Mocha.I would feel more comfortable suggesting a breast implant and breast lift combination to achieve higher volume in the upper pole and a perkier feeling breast. However, you need a formal evaluation with a board certified plastic surgeon to really determine a recommendation for your breasts.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)

Answer: Breast lift Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a great candidate for a breast lift. This can be designed to result in an improved shape and contour of your breasts while minimizing scar appearance. Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
