I am wondering how long it will be until larger vials than 5cc will become available so that larger fat depletion regions can be reasonably improved. Is this ever going to become a reality? Fat grafting from one's own body seems to be fraught with uncertainty and risks at the donor site plus not all of us are candidates. I'm hoping that renuva can be used in place of traditional fat grafting to some extent. I understand alloderm can also be utilized to fill in soft tissue defects as well.
Answer: Larger volume vials of fillers Hi, I would be nice to have larger volume vials of fillers, but in terms of something like this becoming commercially available at a reasonable cost, it is unlikely. The liability potential with selling such a product would be huge. The temptation for injectors to use the same vial on multiple patients would increase the risk of cross contamination. The chances of unqualified people using off the shelf products to do risky large volume procedures will significantly increase the incidence of botched jobs and law suites. For large volume procedures, autologous fat transfer by a well trained doctor is going to be the best option. Products like Renuva and Alloderm do not have any living cells in it. Even if they were available in cheaper, larger vials, you can't use these products for large volume correction. They are only meant to work as a matrix for your own body to regenerate tissue around. If you are not a candidate for a fat transfer, a nice compromise is to combine a dermal filler with platelet rich plasma. This will give you the extra volume from both the filler and from your own body's regeneration of collagen and fat. AKA Vampire Facelift®. This procedure can be performed on the body as well.

Answer: Large Volume Renuva Treatments Are In High Demand. The makers of Renuva are currently working on enabling doctors to utilize Renuva for larger volume treatments. Currently, doctors only use small amounts of Renuva to replenish age-related facial, neck and hand fat loss, smooth irregularities caused by surgery or nature, and help volumize small contour deficiencies.

Answer: Larger vials to correct larger fat deficiencies - Is this ever going to become a reality? I have been performing fat transfer for 30 years using volumes ranging from 1cc to 1000cc. Properly performed fat transfer is extremely reliable and safe when compared with other reconstructive/cosmetic procedures.
