I am a slender girl without much fat to graft at all. My hips are very slim and curveless. What option would be better for me to achieve an hour glass shape to my hips? Sculptra or Renuva?
Answer: Using Renuva with Sculptra Renuva and Sculptra are a great combo for achieving that hourglass-look. They can be combined and used together. Both will both dissolve approximately 3 months post-treatment. Over the course of the 3 months, Renuva is replaced with the body's own fat and Sculptra triggers the body's production of collagen. The great news is that the collagen created by Sculptra and the fat you have post treatment are all yours.

Answer: Renuva is Ideal for Women Who Lack Body Fat and Want to Add Fat to Desired Areas. Renuva and Sculptra are a very effective combination used for women who want curvier hips. It's an especially effective option for woman who lack the body fat needed for surgical fat grafting. Better yet, it requires no anesthesia or downtime. Both Sculptra and Renuva dissolve over the course of 3 months post treatment. Sculptra is replaced with collagen and Renuva is replaced with the body's own fat, leaving lasting and natural-looking results.

Answer: Renuva for large volume defects Thank you for your question and the photos you provided. It is difficult to determine just how much volume you will need without photos or a formal evaluation. In my practice, many patients usually need 100- 200 cc per hip to create a curvy “coke bottle” appearance. You could have multiple syringes of Renuva placed, or you may want to consider a silicone buttocks implant if you do not have enough fat to be transferred. Be sure to discuss with your board certified plastic surgeon and come up with a plan you are both comfortable with.

Answer: Sculptra or Renuva for curvy hips? Thank you for your questions. I think that either might be an option for you, but the thing you need to consider is the cost for what you get. Either of those products are only going to be able to make small improvements in volume and contour and are going to come at a significant cost. Make sure you see a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to discuss your options.Best of luck!Dallas R. Answer: Sculptra or Renuva for curvy hips? Either or both... But you must understand the costs and amounts needed are quite high. Sculptra comes in vials of power while Renuva is in syringes so very hard to give exact comparisons. I like both but again the expense is quite high. Best to see only experienced experts in B B Ls and non invasive injection options for these areas, there are very very few of us. See private email from me. Good Luck.
