Yes, most Doctors will start with one syringe to avoid over-filling. Keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer
Typically I start with 1cc of filler under the eyes and give it a few weeks, sometimes I will use less depending on the patient. I have seen filler last in the lower eyelids for years at a time so make sure you start slow and gradually add if desired. Also make sure to use a filler that can be dissolved if necessary, like you stated Restylane or Juvederm.
Hi @TooNic3! I recommend starting with 1 syringe per session. Regular Restylane and Belotero work great for the tear trough. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Tear troughs and be done with just one syringe of filler in most cases. Sometimes it is done in 2 procedures though about a week apart for fine tuning.
An in-person assessment is the best, however, based on these pictures it appears that you may benefit from 1 cc or possibly more of hyaluronic acid filler. My choice of filler to this area is Vollure, Juvederm, or Restylane. Going to someone who is qualified is more important than price so make sure you feel confident with the experience and technique of the person performing your injections.
I rarely have to use more than 1cc of filler for the tear trough areas, and would definitely not use more than 1 syringe in a single sitting. I also use a microcannula to limit the risks of bruising and swelling. In your situation I would recommend either Belotero or Restylane for the area. Juvederm is not my first choice under the eyes as it can pull in too much fluid. Tear trough injections require an advanced injection technique. Please find an experienced injector and do not trust your face to the lowest bidder. Hope this helps!
One cc is a rational starting point. It should be enough but you may need more. Keep in mind that if two ccs worth is too much, it will be refrigerated and held for later use. I prefer Restylane in this area..
One cc of filler is typically sufficient for most clients, however, some will need more. It can be staged weeks or even months apart if cost is an issue. I would stay away from hydrophilic fillers such as Juvederm, as swelling can occur. I prefer Restylane.
Hello and thank you for the question. Most physicians start with 1 mL of ensure that you have the most natural looking result. Overfilling the tear troughs can cause the Tyndall effect, where you develop a bluish tint in the injected areas, which does not look natural.I suggest consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can determine exactly how many syringes of filler will help you reach your aesthetic goals.
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your pictures you might need more than 1 syringe of filler. You can start with one syringe and see if it gives you a satisfactory results. I like using Juvederm products in this area. I strongly recommend that you see a plastic surgeon or another physician who is well aware of facial anatomy in this area because if not placed properly it might not give you a satisfactory result. I hope this helps and wish you all the best. Inzhili Kitto, M.D. Instagram: @dr_Kitto
Hi @JackieGRR! I recommend waiting a full two weeks for swelling to subside. If you are unhappy with the results after two weeks, you can dissolve the product with Hyaluronidase. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Hi mewberry645,Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a substance that is like your own but by nature draws water. Your swelling is substantial and pooling of fluid due to your position while sleeping can aggravate the swelling.Other factors can worsen it like intake of some supplements b...
This is not typical after filler treatment. I recommend following up with your injector for an in person evaluation. It would be useful to know if any neuromodulator (Botox, Dysprot, etc) was used around the mouth during your treatment.
This is a filler placement issue. You can place more filler in the dimple area and on the outside cheek corner and this should help. You will need to go to an experienced cosmetic surgeon to correct this; otherwise, it can look worse.
Hello and thank you for your question. If you would like to fill the indentation in your forehead and have a smooth profile then fillers such as dermal fillers or fat are an option. I strongly recommend that you see an experienced physician such as a plastic surgeon who is well aware of the...
Hi @babijenny. Thank you for sharing your photo--facial asymmetry is normal. I recommend trying hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Best of luck, Dr. Nima
