I had undereye filler about 4 days ago but the swelling has left small bumps under my eye. Should I get this dissolved? It’s close to Christmas and I’m embarrassed by the way I look. Not sure if I’m being inpatient or if my eyes didn’t suit well with the filler this time. I didn’t have such bruising and swelling before.

Answer: Undereye filler You should give atleast two weeks of time to assess any results. Within this time frame, swelling will decrease and hydration in the filler component will increase. Bruising and swelling is a normal sequelae of the procedure and it is not necessary that it may come every time. It does not mean that the filler is not suiting you. Enjoy your christmas and apply some concealer and meet your treating doctor after required time.

Answer: Under eye filler issues It's too soon to make a judgement and to dissolve your filler as it hasn't settled down yet. It takes approximately two weeks for the swelling to fully come down and I'm saying that even though I do not like using Juvederm or Restylane in the lower eyelid area. If you seem to have the same problem two weeks from now I would recommend dissolving some of the filler with hyaluronidase and have fat grafting to the area instead as it will produce more natural results. Good luck from New York City
