Are potential side effects still the same if used only on eyebrows?

DDys
One of the possible side effects of using Latisse is the potential of "brown darkening of the colored part of the eye (iris) which is likely permanent or eyelid skin darkening which may be reversible." I have blue eyes and would never want to risk possible color change. But, what if I only use it for my eyebrows (or lack of)? Would these side effects still be possible??
