Will Latisse help fill in gaps between eyelashes? (Photo)

Question

I use an eyelash curler (my eyelashes will get pulled out sometimes), and I've noticed that I get bald patches in the same two spots. They grow back sometimes (I think). I'm worried that I've permanently damaged my follicles in these spots, because they have been bald for awhile now. How can I tell if the follicle is permanently damaged? Will latisse help me grow back my lashes in these spots? If I use latisse and they grow back, when I stop using it will the bald patches come back?

Hi, thanks for your question. If your hair follicles aren't damaged where the gaps are then Latisse should help them regrow. If you did damage your hair follicles, Latisse will only help to grow and thicken the healthy follicles, so the lashes that are already there. This could in part cover your existing gaps, but if you were to discontinue Latisse your lashes would return to their original state. I recommend that you book an in person consultation with a Latisse provider in order to assess whether permanent damage has been done to your lashes and whether Latisse can help.

Latisse will help your lashes grow longer and thicker making it appear that the gap between your eye lashes are lessened. It is best to meet with a doctor before moving forward with this script as it can permanently change your eye color.
