Hi, thanks for your question. Bimatoprost is the active ingredient used in the treatment of glaucoma and also enhances eyelash growth. Latisse has essentially the same formula as Lumigan, Allergan's eyedrops for glaucoma. However, Latisse actually has a slightly higher concentration of bimatoprost and can be more effectively and safely applied to the upper eyelashes as it comes with special brushes that allow for an easy application. We typically recommend that you use Latisse if you are looking to enhance eyelash growth, but don't hesitate to speak to your Latisse provider if you have any questions or concerns about the medication.

Hi, as long as the Latisse medication has dried, you should be fine to apply Vaseline afterwards, this should not have an affect on the effectiveness of Latisse. If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to consult your Latisse provider.
