A hard bump on the side of my nose has been present ever since I had rhinoplasty over a year ago. Are there permanent ways to fix this? It makes my nose look worse and lopsided

Answer: Rhinoplasty bump Thank you for your question. Because your skin is thin, even small irregularities have a risk of showing after rhinoplasty. What you're seeing is most likely cartilage. Permanent solution would entail revision surgery, although small amounts of filler can be helpful for disguising bumps as well. I hope this helps, and all the best to you. -Dr. P

Answer: How do I get this cartilage bump from rhinoplasty corrected? It depends... In general, a crooked nasal appearance with visible cartilage may require revisioin rhinoplasty surgery. Depending on your examination, microdroplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for achieving a straighter appearance, and for minimizing the appearance of the cartilage bump. Consider re-asking your question with more photos. Thank you. Dr Joseph
