I'm 39 year old female. Got Botox for the first time 2 days ago. Received 55 units total. 20u in 11s, 10u forehead and 12.5 u each side for crows feet. Is this excessive? Getting worried about the frozen, unnatural look. I don't really have horizontal forehead lines or very deep 11s, my smile lines are more pronaunced and deeper when I smile. Answer: Botox It is difficult to say if that would be the correct dose for you without doing an assessment to determine muscle size etc.. In general 55 units for all the facial areas seems about right. You want to make you still have some movement in the face so the treatment is looking natural and not frozen. If at two weeks you feel its too much then i would suggest you discuss this with your injector and possibly get less units at your next treatment . Enjoy your treatment!
