Rhinoplasty/lip lift - what are concerns/limitations with a combination surgery? (Photos)

As far as I can understand from your question 1e recommend lip lift and rhinoplasty operation to be performed together, is it possible to send 2 photos from the front and side profile for an accurate evaluation?.It would be better face to face consultation.

Hi from Istanbul, thanks for your question! Combining a lip lift with rhinoplasty is a procedure I frequently perform in my practice. Combining a lip lift with rhinoplasty increases swelling and extends recovery times. Initial healing typically takes about 2 weeks, with some swelling lasting several months. It's important to consult a qualified surgeon to discuss specifics and ensure safety and desired results.

Rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a less distracting and more feminine nasal appearance. If you also desire lip lift surgery, I believe it could be performed at the same operation. I do not recommend having a lip lift at the same time as rhinoplasty as that can damage the blood supply to the base of the columella, and it can also produce increased scarring from the lip lift to to increased tension from all of the swelling of both surgeries at the same time. It is very safe to do the surgeries separately. Cost of rhinoplasty varies based on surgeon expertise and geographic location. The total cost of primary rhinoplasty in my practice is $22.5k (all fees included). If you have breathing problems with documented nostril collapse and a deviated septum, then insurance can sometimes cover a portion of the cost . I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Quality plastic surgery outcomes are generally based on variables.
The first patient candidacy, and the second is provider selection.
To get an accurate assessment regarding your candidacy for plastic surgical procedures I suggest having multiple in person consultations with providers in your community.
That is the best way to get a good understanding of what this type of surgery can, and cannot accomplish, as well as a better understanding of pricing good understanding of pricing.
The most important variable is provider selection.
This is also the variable patients have choice over.
Finding the right provider is by far the most important decision.
Rhinoplasty surgery is complex and inherently difficult.
Patience should look for providers who have proven long-term success with at least one or two decades of experience.
Look for plastic surgeons who focus exclusively on rhinoplasty surgery, or those who have rhinoplasty as a large part of their practice.
I recommend patient start by making a list of potential providers in their local community.
Next schedule in person consultations with each of those providers.
I recommend people avoid virtual consultations whenever possible.
I also recommend people avoid traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures, unless necessary.
If you’re going to travel for elective surgery, then you should also be willing to travel for having an in person consultation and postoperative care.
During each in person consultation, ask each each provider provider to open their portfolio and show you their entire collection of previous patients who looks like you.
