How much is a cardiologist clearance for pre-op BBL Surgery?

The PS who indicated that you need medical clearance from a cardiologist prior to your BBL will have a list of cardiologists to whom his/her office refers.  Ask the patient coordinator to provide the point of contact information for you to determine the costs as they vary by cardiologist.

it's not clear from your posting if your plastic surgeon or your Internet is requesting a cardiologist to give clearance. I would imagine you must have some underlying cardiology issues or be at risk for cardiac disease. If this is the case then you should follow the recommended protocol and get a cardiology clearance. If you have medical insurance then there's a high likelihood your insurance would pay for a cardiology consultation.  The consultation could include clearance if your cardiologist feels you are an appropriate candidate for elective cosmetic surgery.  We cannot predict the level of consultation or billing rates for other doctors.
