Which is better, carboxytherapy or microneedling for stretch marks?

I've had two treatments of carboxytherapy on stretch marks behind my knees. I was wondering if I should continue for the full 6 that they recommended or change to microneedling my legs? I know microneedling is a once-a-month treatment but I'm looking for something to improve the appearance of my whole legs.

Stretch marks need a combination approach for improvement. I recommend a combination of microneedling/prp, lasers (Erbium/Fraxel Laser, Excel V, Pulsed Dye Laser) or radiofrequency devices. Stretch marks can't be cured and it will take a series of treatments. I recommend you see an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

Unfortunately, stretch marks are a common occurrence and can be difficult to combat. The best way to approach them is with a combination of treatments. In our office, we use RF Microneedling by INTRAcel which works by creating microchannels in the skin that encourages your body to begin it’s natural collagen production process, resulting in visibly firmer, healthier looking skin, and the addition of radiofrequency energy further heats the collagen-producing layers of the skin, resulting in significant improvements. Microneedling with PRP is helpful in my experience with stretch marks. I would also consider using tretinoin (Retin-A) on the stretch marks as well.
