Does prp and or microneedling release any growth factors that would do this ? or would retinoic acid peels help here ? any energy devices ? or is this simply not possible yet ?

Scars need a combination approach to get the most improvement. Scars can be improved with revision and/or vascular laser like yellow laser or excel v when its red and co2 spot treatment, fillers, microneedling/prp and subcision to help texture and blending. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Scar tissue is a tough subject. There are several modalities that will help to improve the appearance of scar tissue but it is very difficult to completely remove. I would suggest looking into some options to improve the appearance of the scar itself before trying to have excess scar tissue removed.
