Canthopexy will NOT achieve what you want. If you want more almond shape eyes, few extra steps are required (see following video and link). Additional infraorbital rim implant can be placed during the procedure but it is not mandatory. 

Thank you for the photo! At 3 1/2 weeks, you are still in the early stages of healing. By 3 months things should be looking pretty normal but in some cases can take a bit longer. No need for concern at this stage.

It is a difficult problem as it relates to the your eyelids, eye socket, and eyeball are positioned. The lower eyelid can be lifted to make the eyes more almond shaped, which may or may not address your issue. See following link.
