Noritate and make-up ?

Question

I have been diagnose with rosacea and my Dr. prescribed me Doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 4 weeks and 2 creams Noritate in the morning and Elidel before going to sleep. I have pimples and redness. I would like to know if I can put make up on top of Noritate and if yes, which one would be good. I'm affraid the make up would stop the effect of the cream.Thank you for your answer.

Yes, you may apply the Noritate first and then your make-up.  I agree that a mineral based powder is good. I have also found that a green and yellow tint make-up may also be helpful in neutralizing the red color.

Noritate cream is often used to treat rosacea.  Wait a few minutes after applying the Noritate cream before applying make-up.  Most patients with rosacea tolerate a mineral-based powder since it usually does not cause irritation and also offers some sun protection.
