Will this blood clot beneath the skin eventually go away? (photos)

I had scar revision surgery a few weeks ago. The scar itself is better than I had ever imagined it to be. Now the bruising is left. I know that will eventually fade. What's noticeable is the red blood clot. It seems to be lingering with no improvement. Will it eventually fade with time? Or will it need some sort of laser or skin treatment to help fade it?

You have PIH and rubor following a superficial injury to the skin. Local wound care followed by skin lighteners to help improve the color are appropriate. Melarase creams can help even out the dark discoloration. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

There is no cure for scars but it can be improved with fractional laser combined with VBeam/pulsed dye laser.  I suggest a silicone based product such as ScarMD or Biocorneum topically and a vitamin A cream.  You should see a cosmetic dermatologist with experience to evaluate and treat...
