Can environmental elements (weather), and outdoor activities affect a hair transplant at 8 months post-op?

I had an FUT procedure 8 months ago. I've been diligent to keep out of the sun and usually still wear a hat wherever I go but I sometimes get caught in a bit of rain without a hat. I'm wondering if rain can increase the risk of infection if I don't shower right after. I would like to do some camping and hiking as well. Will not showering for a couple of days and exposing the HT to the elements (excluding sun) increase the risk of infection at this point?

5100 grafts would be considered a very high number / large session.  Your concerns are justified since the harvested hair will not grow back from the donor area.

There are no studies or rule on what your diet should be after surgery.  It would be in your general interest to maintain a normal diet over a calorie deficit when recovering after surgery.  If you are concerned it is always a good idea to ask your doctor.

That seems very strange. I would need to see patient in person to know for sure but perhaps some of the hairs were "challenged" during the extraction process.Treating with laser could possibly make them stronger etc...

It is best to contact your doctor regarding the use of Cialis.  Hair transplant surgery and the use of Cialis is not generally related.

Doxycycline is not known to cause hair loss. I you have issues, it is best to followup with your doctor for an examination.

If you blistered or had sunburn to your scalp it probably would not affect the transplanted grafts that is 8 month old.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.
