Answer: Vaser liposuction: swelling hello daystar Most swelling and bruising will heal in the first 2 weeks, but can persist for up to 6-8 weeks. Patients are usually instructed to wear elastic compression garments after the surgery, the period of time will be advised by the doctor. #post-op #hips

Answer: SWELLING IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE AFTER VASER LIPO. Hello daystar, Congratulations on your recent VASER lipo procedure! Swelling is a common occurrence after VASER liposuction, and four weeks is too short of a time to assess the final results. I would recommend you wearing specialized compression garments 24 hours a day, during six months, to help your skin contract smoothly to your new body’s contours. Also, you should get lymphatic drainage massages (a minimum of ten sessions) to eliminate the excess lymph fluid and totally alleviate swelling and discomfort. Your body may look swollen for months, but after 6 months you might appreciate your new and beautifully contoured figure. Kind thoughts! Dr. De La Cruz.

Answer: Too early Hi There,You are still very early in the healing process and swelling on one side may be more than the other. One side will not heal at the same rate as the other in most circumstances. Lymphatic massages can help rid the body of excess fluid quicker and help you see more symmetry. At the end of the day it will take about 6 months to reach your final end point.

Answer: Swelling after Liposuction & After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave, hyperbaric oxygen It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can be asymmetrical and last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
