Rash after tape removed from Breast Reduction surgery. Any suggestions? (photos)

I've developed an itchy rash under my breasts and in the areas where the tape was removed. I go see the surgeon today, and he has asked that I use cortizone cream (which has not worked)... thought I'd get some insight here! Thanks!

It should be fine to have both procedures at the same time, but the best person to answer this question would be your surgeon since he or she know your case intimately and has seen you in person. Best, Dr. Nazarian

It is always best to schedule your surgery with a surgeon in your area as post op care will continue for about a year. However, if you are doing it out of town, you will need to wait at least 7-10 days before getting on a plane as the surgery can increase your risk for a blood clot. Also, see if...

I am not an insurance expert, but I am fairly certain that your current insurance will not apply after 1/1/16. I would suggest that you contact your surgeon's office, explain the situation and see if they can fit you in before the new year. Best, Dr. Nazarian

Yes, a breast reduction would be very beneficial is alleviating your pain issues. However, you will not be able to exercise vigorously (i.e. row) for about 6-8 weeks. Best, Dr. Nazarian

 Thank you for your picture. The incision you're talking about is typically called a SPAIR breast reduction.  It is not a typical brush reduction but it is not an unknown technique either. If your surgeon can accomplish
