Should I use epi-foam after lipo/tummy tuck?

I'm having an extended tummy tuck and lipo of my inner thighs, hips, upper/lower back, arms and chin in April and I can't decide if I want to use epi-foam or not. Is there any real benifit from using it along with a compression garment? How soon after surgery should I begin using it?
