I went back to have botox done on my forehead. I was told after two years without doing any botox, my treatment might not work as well as it did before, as my muscles get stronger as I get older. Is this correct?

Answer: Botox after 2 years Yes, botox will still provide excellent results after 2 years of not being injected. You may need to have an increased amount of injections in comparison to the amount previously received since it has been a long time between treatments. It is best to consult a board certified plastic surgeon however in order to properly assess what dosing of Botox will be required. Best of luck. James Lee

The botox will work, the only difference being that the lines which you had on your forehead may be a little more prominent now than they were before as you have not had botox in over two years. That being said, give it a try! as you know, for optimal results it really needs to be refreshed every 4-6 months (everyone is different and botox can last them a little longer). Good luck!
