I went back to have botox done on my forehead. I was told after two years without doing any botox, my treatment might not work as well as it did before, as my muscles get stronger as I get older. Is this correct?

Answer: Going back to botox Patribrat - don't worry, it will work! remember the mechanism of action of botox. The botox will work, the only difference being that the lines which you had on your forehead may be a little more prominent now than they were before as you have not had botox in over two years. That being said, give it a try! as you know, for optimal results it really needs to be refreshed every 4-6 months (everyone is different and botox can last them a little longer). Good luck!

Answer: Botox Having gone two years without Botox, you are most likely back to baseline and lines might be a little deeper due to aging. However, Botox should still work. You will need to keep up injections every three to four months to keep the results going. You should consult with a Board Certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon for recommendations.
